Istanbul Airport (IST) is located on the European side of Istanbul, on the Black Sea coast. Istanbul Airport is approximately 40-50 km (about 35 minutes) away from the city center (Taksim Square).

The new Istanbul Airport (IST) opened on October 29, 2018. Istanbul Airport (IST) is one of the largest airports in the world. Since its opening, it has been used by more than 250 million passengers on domestic and international routes. Istanbul Airport (IST) is used by close to 200,000 passengers per day. More than 1000 flights a day are available at Istanbul Airport (IST).
